CHRISTMAS AT FORTY HALL FARM

WREATH MAKING & FESTIVE FOOD MARKET

SUNDAY 10th DECEMBER 2017  11am - 4pm

A special addition to Forty Hall Farm's calendar for 2017, a one-off winter food market organised by The Food Gatherer to coincide with the Farm's popular annual Wreath Making afternoon.  Making for an afternoon of festive fun on the farm for the family.

 

EXPLORE AND MAKE

Enjoy a tramp around the farm, see the animals settling down for winter and gather your greenery from the Farm's trees and hedgerows.

Then, head back to the Black Barn to create your festive door wreath which you can take home.

In the barn,  join food historian and writer Angela Clutton as she prepares her winning egg-nog drink 

Author and food blogger Ren Behan will also be hosting a workshop, creating a traditional Polish Christmas treat

and she'll be signing her new book Wild Honey and Rye  (a perfect Christmas gift!)


EAT AND DRINK

Enjoy lunch with seasonal local street food and stay cosy with warming mulled cider,  spiced apple and other seasonal tipples. 

Once you’ve filled your boots, there'll be time to stock up on award-winning local produce and festive treats and gifts; including Forty Hall Vineyard’s wine, Holtwhites' award winning Christmas bakery, Wildes Cheese, the urban cheese makers and Old Bakery Gin, midwinter organic produce from the farm and lots more!

Free entry to the Farm all dayWreath-making: £4 per wreath

Note: Please bring scissors or secateurs if you have them (though some will be available to borrow for a small deposit). Wrap up warm and don’t forget your wellies!  Suitable for families, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
