About the Festival

The Enfield Food Festival is a joyful two-day celebration of the food and drink produced in and around Enfield and the people that make it.  Our north London Borough embraces both city and country life, boasting an array of international food cultures, urban food enterprises, as well as passionate producers, who grow and farm within Enfield's green belt.  All melt together in one big pot to create a special combination of food and people that is the Enfield Food Festival!

Capel Manor College's Forty Hall Farm is home to the Festival.  It's a working farm and a beacon of sustainable organic local food production, boasting a market garden, orchard, rare breed animals and London's only commercial vineyard so it's the perfect place to hold a food festival.  Visiting the farm is an escape to the countryside, right here in London!

The event is organised as a partnership between Forty Hall Farm and The Food Gatherer with the support of a loyal team of volunteers.  In 2017 we welcomed in excess of 3,500 drawing visitors from across London and our nearby home counties.

2020 update

The Festival has taken a pause as we focus on growing our monthly farmers’ market at Forty Hall Farm where we continue to raise a toast to good local food and drink!
