We love it when a plan begins to come together!

Planning is well underway for Enfield Food Festival 2017, a culinary celebration of the fantastic produce made here in the borough of Enfield and its neighbouring areas. We have a new look logo and website too!

Join us for inspiring talks, masterclasses and cooking demos plus guided walks including on Monday, a foraging tour of the farm with botanical and herbal specialists, Handmade Apothecary, who will be introducing and signing their fascinating best-selling book The Handmade Apothecary .

Have a go at apple pressing (above) and enjoy some time in the Forty Hall Farm Orchard, meet the folk from the Enfield Veg Co, growing veg in the farm's market garden plus the Forty Hall Vineyard team, who'll be offering tours and tastings of their fantastic wines, produced from grapes grown on the farm's vineyard.  Did you know that Enfield lays claim to London's only commercially produced sparkling wine?

Thanks to Tara Sura of Fork and Dram for these great shots above from last year's festival - she'll be offering tips  on good photography on a guided tour of the Festival and estate, all you need is a camera phone but if you want to bring a bigger camera, feel free! We'll also be running a festival photo competition so watch this space for information about that.

If you fancy a pre-lunch stretch to make room for some good food there’ll be Yoga in the Orchard with Yoga with Ro on Sunday and Jackie Lee of North London Yoga Studio on BH Monday too.

There'll be plenty of Streetfood to devour at the Festival and we welcome the return of award winning producers such as Wildes Cheese, Themptation Foods and Holtwhites Bakery and of course you can pick up fresh local produce direct from Forty Hall Farm too, ( no air miles here!) but we also have a selection of new producers such as the fantastic Fruit Magpie with their Urban Preserves (on Monday), Vita Bio with their handmade pasta and charcuterie and handmade ice cream from Our list of producers is constantly updating - here's the line up so far.

Children can explore the farm and feed the animals too and there will be fun with Anorak Magazine who will be providing some unique and creative food inspired craft activities, plus the Orchard will return with their bike powered smoothies!

Our demo line up is also coming together and we're very excited about the return of some favourites from last year along with new faces too, such as Christine Smallwood, food and travel writer who will be preparing a special Italian dish with seasonal farm produce... current line up is here but will be updated.
